Permaneciendo en la mente y en el corazón aquellas canciones americanas e
inglesas que nos acompañaron en nuestra juventud, en algún momento
les escribí letras en español que reflejaran en lo posible su significado,
su espíritu y hasta su fonética. En los '80 las grabé en casa, haciendo
los arreglos en un teclado ( de los antiguos ) y en una grabadora que
tenía una mezcladora y que masterizaba en cinta cassete a doble velocidad.
Fue un trabajo artesanal, pero creo que tuvo el valor de expresar las
inquietudes del espíritu, no obstante las limitaciones que te impone el medio
cuando ya no eres la 'novedad del año'. Poco tiempo después, la tecnología
digital y computacional me permitió producir en un nivel un poco más
profesional, pero pasado los años quiero nostálgicamente
compartir con ustedes aquellas grabaciones.

While those old songs that were with us during our youth keep remaining deep within our minds
and hearts, some time ago I translated and made a Spanish version trying to keep as
possible their meaning, their spirit and even more, the phonetic or sound in English.
In the '80s, making the arrangements with an old keyboard I recorded them at home on a
double speed cassette recorder that also had a four channels mixer.
It was just a home recording but with the value of letting the spirit express itself,
though the limitations of chilean artistic circles.
After a while, the
computing and digital technology allowed me to produce more professionally.
But as time went by I want to share nostalgically some of those recordings
with you.
